 · Through the path tree column, navigate to the driver you selected in Step 3 (for example, www.doorway.ru under C:/Windows/drivers). Expand the Driver category and focus on the Active pages. The value in the Size column represents the impact the driver code has on the memory footprint. In the following example, it is MB.  · You can use the Memory Footprint assessment to quantitatively compare a baseline operating system image against another operating system image. You can then identify the specific components that affect the memory footprint of the physical system. These components can include drivers, add-in applications, preloaded software packages, and .

The Memory Footprint assessment enumerates the contents of the in-use memory to help driver manufacturers and system builders optimize the system performance of the computers that they are creating. The assessment highlights the memory allocations of drivers and boot applications. In-use memory includes more than just the Windows system processes. This technique can be used for the rest of the device drivers in the system, such as SPI, SMI, I2C, ADC, etc., to reduce the final footprint of the system. The PCD method reduces the memory usage of the system and makes the driver start-up faster, thus resulting in faster start-up and optimum memory performance. This assessment helps you to see how drivers and applications (that always run) impact the boot process. Open Windows Assessment Console (WAC) from the Start menu. Open the Options menu and select New Job Enter MemoryTest as the job name. Select Create a custom job. Click on Add Assessments. Add the Memory Footprint assessment by clicking on the “+” symbol; Click on the newly added Memory Footprint assessment to enter the test configuration.

minimal level of abstraction provided by the device driver. This enables Vulkan applications to benefit from lower CPU overhead, lower memory footprint. Driver Memory Footprint: off it makes little difference anyway (unless on an Intel® 82G Graphics and Memory Controller Hub (GMCH). The Dart runtime is responsible for managing Dart memory and concurrency for your Dart code. In JIT mode, it's additionally ~10 MB GPU driver memory.
